Privacy for browser tab comparison.
Tabmeet compares the tabs you ask it to compare. The product is designed to keep browsing assistance narrow, explainable, and tied to your current decision.
What Tabmeet Reads
Tabmeet reads visible page information from supported tabs in the current browser window, such as page title, URL, domain, visible prices, seller clues, ratings, warranty text, and specifications when available.
What Tabmeet Stores
Saved comparison sessions can include tab titles, URLs, extracted attributes, trust signals, recommendations, and manual corrections. Local extension data is stored in browser extension storage. If you sign in, selected profile and comparison data may sync through Firebase.
AI Requests
When AI analysis is enabled, Tabmeet sends the comparison context needed to summarize tradeoffs. It should not need full browsing history, unrelated tabs, passwords, payment details, or private account pages.
User Control
- You can choose specific tabs to compare.
- You can remove tabs from a comparison.
- You can edit extracted values before relying on them.
- You can save or delete comparison sessions.
What Tabmeet Is Not For
Tabmeet is not intended to collect full browsing history, automate purchases, scrape private accounts, or make final decisions for you. It organizes visible context so you can compare options with less tab switching.
